Nissan is working on a low-cost car



It seems that Indian car Tata Nano almost unique in the world a small cheap car for emerging markets.

Nissan is among those companies that are just paying close attention to this segment. Since March 2010 the Japanese automaker plans to release a new platform for small cars in Thailand, India and China. The new car was in development since 2005, the configuration will be called V (Versatile).

It is believed that the car will be 18 percent fewer parts than the current Nissan. Of great importance for the success are selling. By 2013 planned sale of one million cars per year (one third of all Nissan sold over the last three months). Selling cars is also planned in Europe and the United States.
